Mens Hairdressing competition 1961 silent film
Story about a men's hairdressing competition held in Coventry.
A barber combs and lacquers a man's hair. An ill-fitted wig then appears on the man's head, as if the lacquer has miraculously made hair grow.
Several male hairdressers outside a building in Coventry. Inside the building hairdressers compete in a competition. different hair styles being judged. women in the crowd looking on. hairdressers in action, sculpting a number of different styles, using spray, a hair net, and a hairdryer.
The man in the bad wig has his head tendered. He suddenly whips off the wig to reveal his bald head. The winners are applauded onto a stage. The models and barbers then all line up to be congratulated.
